Mid-Century Heywood Wakefield Coronet Champagne China Cabinet
This is a compelling pre-war china cabinet from Heywood-Wakefield’s ‘Coronet’ line. Coronet premiered in 1941 and was designed by Count Alexis De Sakhnoffsky. The front is fitted with two sliding glass doors with two shelves inside and has a medium-sized cubby with shelving beneath for storing additional items. It is in good condition for its age, shows age wear (surface scratches/wear, minor chips on glass, stain inside cabinet-see photos). It will make an excellent presentation and will make a nice addition to any home. It is marked Heywood Wakefield.
